I would just like to point out that John Wayne lost an epic underwater octopus fight in not one, BUT TWO of his movies. Reap the Wild Wind and Wake of the Red Witch. The only logical explanation is that octopuses were his kryptonite. NOTHING ELSE COULD KILL HIM
i love when i stumble upon john wayne movies on tv at work.
totes makes my day a little better. of course, an elvis movie or perhaps some criminal minds would also be welcome. but it never happens. so, i will gladly take the duke. :)
also, fun facts; the movie on is “the shootist”, which has harry morgan in it. he was in the elvis movie “frankie and johnny”. also, lauren bacall is in this movie and ron howard. and, it is john wayne’s last movie. :(
